I am an economic sociologist interested in financial services access and affordability. My work focuses on credit unions and how they shape the broader financial environment and people’s experiences with them compared to traditional commercial banks.

I am versed in different qualitative and quantitative methods. I have used computational text analysis, event history analysis, generalized additive models, archival work, and other approaches in my work.
