Kathy is an economic sociologist interested in financial services access and affordability. She is experienced in computational text analysis, statistical methods, and archival work. Her dissertation compares consumer outcomes of bank customers and credit union members.
Kathy is a first generation college student from the foothills of Appalachia in southern Ohio. When she isn’t teaching or researching, you can find her biking along the Chicago lakefront.
